Default Detail Spray on New Paint Job?

Just had the hood and grille of my 2011 Mercedes SLK 350 painted and clear coated. Picked in up and it was sitting in the sun after being sprayed with water and water spots all over. Once home I used Mothers CG detail spray with a microfiber towel to get off the water spots. UH OH, did I just screwed up?

Default Re: Detail Spray on New Paint Job?

Generally you want to avoid waxes of any kind as they may disrupt the curing process.

An instant detailer should be avoided, but it should not pose a problem when used in such an "emergency."

Thank you for using Mothers!
