    Shame Shame Shame!!!!!

One of the young fellows I work with smashed his car up. The dealership I work for is owned by brothers and they each have their own shop. Our sister shop has an auto body dept. and we do not. The young fellow had his car shipped down to the sister shop to get the $5,600 worth of body work done. When he told me he was getting it done there I joked with him about their results. Well here a few pics.......

    how bout a second

When we picked the car up they had washed it. Its been sitting for about a week now. (due to insurance reasons)
When we picked the car up they washed it and put tire shine on it but didnt clean the rims. The are a real class act. Lately we have been getting cars from thier lot to put on ours. We dont even mess around we perform full details on them.

That looks like a car that I did nto long back. It was from the guy that used a rotary at a high speed with a cutting pad and a swril remover. I was able to get the car back in shape with a rotary and some real good polish to level the clear coat

    Still that`s a shame

The first picture looks so bad that I actually thought the buffer streaks were scratches.
Was this training day on the rotary?

Holy crap, i also thought that fist pic was a set of 4-5 long scratches down the hood.

What a inexplicably horrific job they did. Poor guy.

How is that legal? How can they do that to a car and then expect to get paid for it? They ought to be sued. Sheez. If I did that to someone`s car or my own - I sue myself!

That looks awful. A Cavalier with $5600 worth of damage, the car should be totalled.

    Dean,
I would love to get a chance at that hood but the kid that owns the car works under me and I"m going to let him do it. I know if he does it like I taught him it will be fine. He is the only other guy there that buffs!!!!
I`ll post some pics when it is finished.

    Eric,
You nailed that one. It is now an "R" title. I`m not sure what the reason was for fixing it but he did. I know the insurance didnt pay for it.

That is horrible. I can`t believe they would return the car like that. How can they believe the customer won`t be pissed with those results?!?

I guess it will be a good learning experience for the kid....Good luck

I wouldn`t mind using it also, I might be putting together a website for my business and that would be perfect to show a bad job.
