Default California Gold Paste Wax Comment....

For anyone interested, I recently found this comment on the Mothers wax by an independent detailer that has quite a bit of respect and great reputation on some detailing forums. Just thought I'd share for all of you considering it. I already know what I use...

I present: Mothers Pure Carnauba Paste

One of the best..........yet the cheapest nubas out there!
Smell is just amazing!
Beads water like a MOFO!
My version is an older one (non VOC compliant) So Note that..
Will stain trim but it is an older version (but I don't wax trim)
Application is easy
let haze then remove(bout 7-12 min depending on climate)
True nuba glow, depth and gloss...
Removal is fairly easy......a final wipedown will make it that much better
2-3 months durability is absolute tops.
Application works best with a dampened MF applicator.
You can spend 1000's on nubas but this will satisfy even the hardcore nuba freaks as myself.
Works great on every color and provides great protection.
If a high end company sold this for 5k....it would still sell.
Yea it is that good...........
Application is a breeze with a DA polisher and a 5.5 inch pad...the pad fits right in the container...
Layered can produce a very unique look only capable of a true nuba!

I never used the non-VOC version.

I have, and these were the results I remember. I haven't used it in a while just from the desire to try different stuff. I like collecting wax. However, I am returning to this cause I just haven't found anything that blows me away.

I actually have a tin can that's at least 8 years old, if not a bit older (I'm assuming it's non-VOC). I'd imagine it's non-VOC. But I just ordered a new can from auto geek to use. I'll compare to my old can and see if the texture or quality of the old one seems any good.

Sometimes opinions are opinions.

There have been a variety of VOC compliance adjustments among all wax makers over the years, so this author's assumptions and observations and opinions should be taken for his own.

Be assured, our formulas have evolved to be compliant, but also provide results that you have come to expect from Mothers.

You seem slightly upset by that quote?! I posted here because I found it to be quite the compliment and thought others would appreciate it. Hope I wasn't speeding.

I will say the non-VOC version is quite durable.
