What are the steps for the complete poorboy shine?

I was curious as to what the steps are for the complete poorboy shine. Please include claying and swirl remover. I am confused about what the correct order is.

    Thanks

    4. SSR1
    5. Pro Polish
    6. EX

Fireman...first I would need some info from you about the condition of the vehicle and what you are trying to achieve.

ie swirls, scratches , enhancement ..POP????

Tassadar have you done these steps already and on what type of finish did you do it on?

    Thanks
Would be glad to make some recommendations based on all the PB products I`ve used on finishes of various conditions. But, to do so I really need to know something about the vehicles condition, what you are looking to achieve and how much time you are willing to invest in the process.

The vehicle is aprox 5 years old, black, with and average amount of swirl marks for the age and color of paint. I would like high gloss and deep shine and time is no object.

    Here`s what I`d do:

SSR2 - until swirls are gone
Pro Polish - clean up SSR2
Polish with Carnauba with PC (if you have one)
    Polish with Carnauba by hand
    EX x 3
Top with Trade Secret x as many times as you want.
    Maintain with S & W and QD +

Keep in mind that I`m "nuts"!

Keeping that in mind , that`s a good suggestion or you can cut it down a little.

    Yes,

The cut down version would look like this:

SSR2 - until swirls are gone
Pro Polish - clean up SSR2
    Polish with Carnauba by hand
    EX
    Maintain with S & W and QD +

I use PRO #1 polish, Meguiars #9 and #82 then to perfect the look use 3M IHG or other good glaze like #7.
Will the EX go over the polishes and glazes or do you have to spend all day applying and rewashing or use "special" polishes or "pre-treatments" before applying EX?
Will EX bond properly if using the polishes I already have or is EX a P.I.T.A. and have all the bonding issues that seems to surround sealants.
Will using the products I already have be a problem? I don`t plan to switch everything just to try to use one product.
If it will bond properly and there will be NO durability issues, I would be interested in trying it

Others have said that EX is quite flexible and can be used with other products successfully.

However, I can`t attest to that fact. I`m sure Poorboy will be by to explain further.

Windsor...I have heard of people putting EX over all of the above mentioned products will no problems at all and the look will be great and the EX will keep and add POP....

as far as durability..there`s way too many variables when using that many products on top of each other .

the only way we`ll know with that combination is for you to do it and then tell us...

Alright what`s up with Pro polish followed by polish w/carnuba.

Tass and I had a chat on a previous thread about this and though we both felt that it sounds redundant Playboy, er I mean Poorboy, was quoted as suggesting this combo (and after all he knows his products best). Any reason why or is this an "experience dictates" situation?

BTW I shared some EX with my neighbor yesterday for his new black 4runner yesterday along with a PVC and S&W. He hasn`t used it yet and it`s driving me nuts! I wanna see his face after he finishes it....

the way Boss describes it`s use...the Polish w/ Carnuba, with a foam applicaor and just layering it on, it will work as a glaze and do filling and enhancement....then topped with EX...the EX will seal in the glaze look...

    how did I do Boss
