    Im at wits end, stupid sap will not go away

    damn sap
    i cant get it to go away, grrrrrrrrrr

    ive tried claying it away
    i got the surface stuff off, but there is still white residu left behind

    i just now got some 3m wax and adhesive remover
    ive gone at it for 10 min and nothing

    im letting it sit right now for 10 min, letting it soak in, then seeing what will happen, but im not optemistic

    what else do you guys suggest?

    Wow, I`m surprised the 3M stuff won`t remove it! You could try some straight turpentine.

    There are several kinds of paint cleaners used by body shops to prepare the surface for painting and I think maybe that`s what the 3M stuff you are using is classified as. I use PPG products and their #440 Wax and Grease cleaner should do the trick on the tree sap.

    I`ve also used PVC pipe cleaner....the kind you use to clean a PVC pipe prior to glueing them together. VERY strong stuff that removed the glue/foam left behind when I removed the side trim from my truck. Very nasty chemical so use caution if you use either of these products. No smoking and a face mask is a good idea as the fumes are quite noxious.
    Dream big and be willing to do the work to get there.
