One Step Wax?

I was wondering what you guy might use for a one step process. Currently I do 6 steps on almost all cars
Wash
Clay
Polish
Swril Reomver
Glaze
Wax

I`m getting reasy to start working off site at a local Golf CC. I know that some will want a less expensive and time consuming job. I can use the rotary, orbital or by hand.

What do you guys use and how do you apply it.

I`ve experimented with Klasse and Mothers One-Step Cleaner Wax applied with a polishing pad and they both came out amazingly good. I think you should probably clay first, unless the car is close to new and even then, unless the client absolutely refuses. The Mothers is very good on dark cars because the swirls are hidden better than with the Klasse. I have to say, if the finish is basically good to start with and if you clay, you can get VERY respectable results with a one-step. I`m not sure that the average picky person could tell the difference without a direct comparison. Most have probably never experienced a proper wax job, so when you do it, they are amazed at how much better their car looks.

First ones that come to my mind are............. Mother`s California Gold Cleaner Wax, and Coats Cherry Wet Wax. Both are pretty nice products for what they do.

My bet is on Klasse AIO, cleans, protects and shines at once. It can be used with the PC and polishing foam. I`ve done it.

Thanks I can get the klasse here locally at a decent price to try out now I need victim..That should be easy to find.

The mothers cleaner wax is really not that bad. I was skeptical but, when I have a customer who only wants the "bottom of the barrel" that`s what they get and they`re always pleased

I think on our personal cars this would only be suitable for doorjambs and underneath the hood but, for someone who has never detailed their car correctly they will never know the difference. Just my .02.

So would you guys pick the Mothers one step, even over MeGuiar`s #6 Cleaner Wax ? (That`s what I was planning on using as my one step wax)

I have a small bottle of Mother`s that seems OK (came with the claybar), but I just assumed that the professional #6 would be better?

I think you mean #26 don`t you (#6???) the mothers clean and wax got a decent review on guru wax reports. Klasse also works great in door jams, doesn`;t stain the trim like some waxes.

If you are going to work in the sun on hot surfaces, you might want to try my Polish with Carnuba....it`s one step and can be used in the sun...as all my products...

Dwayne`s got some of them in...a little birdie told me

Meguiar`s #6 is a cleaner wax available in 16 or 64 oz. bottles. I have used it in the past and while it performed as advertised, it didn`t really impress me.
The Poorboy`s one step that can be used in the sun might be of interest to those that have to detail outdoors.
