Question Question For Engine Kote Users

I had some Engine Kote for a while I havnet really had a chance to try it out yet. I noticed though that the bottle I have it in is starting to get all out of shape as if the air was being sucked out also the sprayer feels gummed up and doenst give a mist anymore Its in a Zep Pro Chemical Resistant sprayer and bottle. I took the sprayer out and cleaned it and with water it misted perfect the spray bottle also went back to shape. What is the deal with Engine Kote does it need a special sprayer or bottle ? Does It need to be shaken once in a while for it not to settle. ?

    Thanks

    EK

EK is mostly like a floor wax. It DOES need a high quality spayer due to spotting you will get when you try to apply it if in a lower quality sprayer.

I`ve used it, but it did the same thing.. spotted on what I sprayed it on. I had to spread it with a clean shop towel.

I only use it now for wheel wells, as it dries hard and does not collect dust/dirst like other dressings.

I also use it under the car for keeping that area looking like new.

I now just use 303 in the engine area. Just didn`t like the way EK spotted.

Hope you get better results, and I find that if you have any other dressing in that area and use EK, you get the same problem..spotting of white milky EK all over. Try it in a small area first!

I wonder cause the Zep Sprayers work really good and are chemical resistant. I was thinking of trying out the Meguiars Detailer Bottles. Its kind of eaiser to just spray the stuff then get in the wheel wells with a rag I will see though.
