I have a 2003 Nissan 350 Z. The color is Brickyard. Its a deep metallic maroon. Now that it is getting warmer here in NJ,I am going to finally clean everything. What do you like to use on metallic paints?

I like to use poorboys PP & EX-P(light colors) and Meguiars cleaner wax & Medallion Paint Protection on metallic. Both really bring out the sparkle IMO. Others have also recommended UPP and Wolfgang-Pinnacle but I haven`t got to try those yet. Just my two cents.

I used 1Z Glanz Wax on a dark bluish gray metallic and it brought out the flake. As a matter of fact I never knew it had flake in it as it was so dirty. Really nice wax.

I second what Rabbi says. 1Z Glanz Wax really brings out the metal flake.
Looks like I`ve come a long way from TurtleWax 2001 CarWash and NuFinish.

hands down so far the best for metallics -
You have activated my special ability....
I`m with Groebuck on this one.
Used AIO & SG on this Gold one. Top with P21S (S100) for darker.
Don`t cry honey. I wasn`t polishing the car again. I swear! :naughty
Pooboys EX topped with Natty`s paste.
Dream big and be willing to do the work to get there.
