A few days ago I noticed some stickers on one of my towels. My daughter must have been bored. The adhesive of the stickers seemed to be a real pain to get off as soap and water didn`t cut it. So, I decided to use a product called goo gone. It`s save for clothing and I`ve used it before, but never on fabrics. Anyhow I probably should have posted this question before I did the deed, but I thought why not try it anyhow. It worked pretty well as the goo gone broke the adhesive from the stickers. I re-washed the towel and it looks great. Looks like no damage was done from the goo gone. (no color fading of the towel) Don`t know if this was the smartest thing to do, but I couldn`t think of anything else. I soaked the towel in hot water overnite, but that didn`t work either.
