The deal is that S&W its about the best liquid since the invention Pespi, I read that one but I agree.
I use it as maintaince thing for my cars. You can extend out the time between car washes. How dirty can a car be, I`ve come after some pretty dirty ones. Spray on and let set a minutes then wipe off with little to no pressure. The dirt comes off with ease, I also keep turning the towel to keep a cleaner side down.
I then finish up with QD spray for a waxed look. If you have not used S&W I`d say your in for a real treat!

and it can be used on glass and hard plastic trim (the shiney kind) - it`s awesome - if you have ever washed your car, dried it then felt a loss of that slickness - follow up with S&W it will remove the "residue"...awesome product.
You have activated my special ability....
Can the same thing be accomplished with a QD ?
When it`s you car, every detail matters...........
I agree, S&W is an awesome product. I can now clean my car 9 at night without dragging out the water hose. The only problem I found is that I keep running out of clean sides to turn over. I guess I shouldn`t be cheap and just use several MFs to do the job.Originally posted by Beemerboy

Personaly I haven`t found a QD that will clean like S&W without leaving some micro scratches behind.
My only use anymore for a QD (I use Meguiars Final Detail) is after a wash to bring back the just waxed look or after S&W for the same reason.
I have found that both products work a lot better if your vehicle is waxed (sealant etc.)

S&W can be used on a vehicle that is actually dirty and needs to be washed. For me, a QD is basically for a clean, possibly dusty or water spotted car.
I use S&W when I wouldn`t even consider using a QD.
FWIW, I was a big skeptic of any waterless car wash, but this stuff works.
Quick and Easy Wash, a low water use wash product also works well, but I almost always use the S&W anymore.

I can usually do my SSEI (big car) with two ... three if it is dirtier.
My wifes Z-3 can do with one ... of course not much paint there.
One of the areas I like S7W the most is on wheels ... it cleans them and leaves them slick so stuff doesn`t stick as bad. There I use the oldest MF I have ... actually the cheapos from Walmart work good for wheels

Great feedback, thanks. Let me get this straight, some of you guys use S&W to replace a standard wash?? Do you follow this procedure with every vehicle??

pmd, for me it does not replace a good wash. However, it is quite effective as a supplement between washes and when my SUV is not too dirty.

You`ll be very impressed with Poorboys S&W. I think I`m on my 4th or 5th bottle. I also got some friends of mine hooked on it . . . simply a great product.
I`m no detailer, just someone learning to care for my car. Hands down, S&W is the most used tool in my arsenal of products. I use mine every few days or so. A little goes a long way. S&W replaced 94.8% of my car washes. I love this stuff. I`m what you would call a repeat/loyal Poorboy`s S&W customer now.

After I wash, I use ClearKote QD. Leaves a really slick and smooth finish. Now, will the S&W remove the ClearKote QD when I use it the next time to clean and remove dust?
I use Spray and wipe in place of a wash everytime on my three vehicles. As a test I used Spray and Wipe on a small area of my 1990 Nissan 240SX after the winter with all the dirt and salt on the car. Mind you that it is the original paint with 287,000+ miles on it and it is a daily driver so I was not really worried what happened to the paint. I was amazed that after letting the Spray and Wipe sit for about 10 seconds or so and lightly wiping it off, there were "NO" scratches and it looked like it was just washed.
