Smile I have two days for this one

3 1/2 years old, always washed in auto wash machines. No shine in the paint.

So far (lunch time) it was washed and clayed, wheels washed and tar removed, wheel wells cleaned, Leatherique applied to the leather. Now it`s parked under the sun.

Can`t wait to see the final results. I guess you`ll break out the rotary and flood lights, huh?

Better.... after all it`s almost 5 years old, not 3. I tested the rotary with cutting pad and cutting compound and had to do 3 times each section, so per 3M recommendation I`m testing/using their P3000 wet sanding foam by hand as a substitute of a rubbing compound with great advantage so far. I`ve sanded and then polished with the PC and cutting foam, skipping the rotary and the splatter

Here`s some pics I took this night wile working with my Nokia phone (not the best quality)

    Sanded side:

I`m starting to see myself on a polished section:

This is becoming a challenge to me Tomorrow evening I`ll deliver it.

I think you are going to send the owner of that car into shock. How much are you charging for this job?

Is the car supposed to be black? Good gosh if that original picture was of a black car, I am downright astonished.

That`s his working car, cars are expensive here, a Porsche costs between $150K and $200K.

do you guys have a poor exchange rate or are imported items just taxed heavily? I would think you should get them cheaper than we would.

Edit: I think that`s a steal of a deal for that guy. I would have charged more.

Ok, it was delivered this afternoon. The guy, a large company owner, was astonished. He not only gladly payed but also told me to bring next week his other BMW, a 525i, then his son Z3, wifes Cherokee, daughter Audi TT, brothers 730d (like his own), and company`s cars, so on, so on.

    I guess I ended up wining €€€!

Ah, he has a lot of friends who drive MB, BMW, Porsches, Ferraris....

JPV, nice job, seems like word is getting around that you are the man. When we do transformations here in the US it is greatly appreciated by our customers but I can only imagine that in Spain where people don`t really see this type of work it is even more appreciated. Stick with the rich clients and you will be fine, rich people know other rich people and they don`t care about price just quality.
