    SSR1 then Zaino ?

I was wondering if anyone has tried applying Z5/2 over SSR1, as I want to do
    SSR2.5
    SSR1
    Z5/2 .
I have EX-P coming but want to use up the Zaino product I have left before making the switch to all Poorboys.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I have not done it but I think it should work really well. SSR1 will prepare the surface nicely for Zaino. A lot of Z2/5 users are actually missing this step since Zaino doesn`t offer (to my knowledge) any polishing/swirl removing products.

Let me know how it comes out. I also have some Z2 leftovers and might as well use it up.

Zaino will work just fine with the SSR line.

Thanks for the replys guys, But I think I didn`t make my question clear enough. I was wondering not about the appearance but if I could physically apply Zaino on the SSR1 without "cleaning` the paint in between or would there be bonding issues.

    mahd,

If you want to be on the safe side, you could use Z6, or Spray & Wipe (if you have either) before you apply the Z5. Even though the SSR line doesn`t have any fillers, oils, or silicones, there still could be some solvents that you might want to remove before the Z5. Also, make sure all the SSR polish "dust" is removed before apply Z5........ or any product for that matter.

Depends what you mean by "anything"! Almost "every" product contains solvents of some sort. SSR polishes also leave a considerable amount of dust if worked properly.

I`ve never had a problem with dust after SSR line - comes right off with a MF towel. I have gone from ssr1 to sealant(s) with zero issues...
