    Pushed to my limit...

I had a 5 hour time frame to complete full service details to this 98 Porsche Boxer and this 2001 Volvo S80. I was pushed to my detailing limit with regard to speed and technique, and I am happy to report that I met the deadline. I hate detailing under pressure, but I was real happy to see the the customer was happy and appreciated my efforts. I tough way to spend a Sunday morning, but well worth it...

I love Porsches. I could not have done that in 5 hours, heck I would have spent more than 5 hours on the Porsche alone just out of pure love for them.

Would you mind telling us your procedure for exterior and interior? I love the way the interior on the Porsche looks, especially the carpet.

Yah CleanDean, this raises the same question to me - How did you get the work done in that time? What did you cut corners on? Did you have a helper? If I spend 6 hours on 1 car, I want to know how you can go twice as fast, lemme know, help me out!!! Thanks!

2 cars in that time frame? They had to of been in really good shape to begin. Excellent job on both cars, the interior of the Porsche looks very nice.

Wow, you must have been moving at a torrid pace! THe interior on the Porsche looks fantastic.

Like the others, I doubt I could have done complete interior/exterior details on both those vehicles in 5 hours. THe only possibile way I`d make it is if they were in excellent shape to begin with. Even then, I most likely would have gone over the time limit. Nice work!!!!!!

The cars look GREAT!!! The best thing was that you where working with two new cars that helped you in the speed time frame. Stil I`m impressed at the results.

    Pushed to the Limit !!!

Sorry I couldn`t respond quicker to this post... Yes the cars were both in pretty decent condition to begin with, however the S80 required quite a bit of claying due to a large amount of tree sap on the clear. As for interior detailing I developed a system that works really well for me in regards to results and saving time....

I will post again to this post later this week with a more descriptive "method of attack" that I use during int/ext detailing sessions. I am flat out exhausted tonight, and not because of detailing... My wife gave birth to a baby girl after 12 hours of labor!!! What a day !!! Sundays detailing session was nothing !!!
