Question What are you thoughts of NXT Protectant

OK so im in wal-mart and of course i have to walk in the car section - even if it is the wal-mart. Well, i see this nice pretty bottle of Meg`s NXT Protectant just sitting on the shelf with a price tag of $5.94. It starts calling out to me and of course i give in and say "well its only 6 bucks - why not?" I used it on my dad`s lightly abused 2001 Chevy Tahoe - WOW - i was surprised - it was better than i expected. I used it on the exterior trim and running boards and it looks sharp - however now to see how long it lasts. I was wodnering what are some other people`s opinion on this product.

Haven`t read many reviews, but the whole NXT line seems pretty good. Did it give it a glossy or a matte finish?

It was kinda in the middle - like not extremely glossy but fairly glossy. I was just surprised that it actually performed so well. I would give pics but my dad stole my camara for his business this week since his broke :angry So hopefully i will be able to give pics soon!

It`s not a bad deal for $6, but I don`t think it`s better than anything else on the market.

oh no neither do i, but i was surprised that it performed as well as it did. Many fo the products from wal-mart and other stores of the sort seem to never be as good as the ones i get online. But yeah I will def keep some of this suff for other peoples cars - my car doesnt have any exterior trim.

Hey zymolKK - I am in Durham too (did we talk about this before) ?

I have only tried the Tech wax and so far I am iffy on it depending on the paint (you either get really good results or really odd ones).

Glad to hear the protectant works well

I have found the NXT protectant to be lower gloss that the endurance, but higher than say #40. If the tire is really clean, it will leave a nice dark sheen, very black, but a bit on the high gloss side.

Applied over endurance, BLING! A bit too glossy for me.

I have never used on it an interior and do not plan to. I like #40 or PB NL inside.

Yeah - i didnt use it on the tires - just on the exterior trim. I wouldnt use it inside either - way to greasy for that.

I used it on my exterior trim and I found it to be better than the Mother`s Back to Black I was using, which I did like too. I plan to try some fo Poorboys trim restorer too though. But I am pleased with the NXT protectant.
