Thumbs up good stuff i have to say about Meg`s plastX, wow !

A while back i had bought a bottle of plastx, but haven`t used it so far. I had bought it from comments about it on this forum. Last week my brother-in-law and i were looking at his accord`s headlights in disapointment, seeing how opaque they were, and then i mentioned to him that stuff (plastix) telling him i had one bottle at home sitting on the shelf, and that guys on this forums like it much.

Yesterday, i went back to his, and he said : *i got something that you got to see*........so i followed him outside, and wow ! the blinkers, sidemarkers, headligths, were REALLY looking great ! At first i thought he had polished them using a drill fitted with some kind of polishing pad and light compound, but then he told me it was all done by hand, using plastx, and believe me, i`m the kind of guy not easily impressed........a product has to really deliver, or give out impressive results for me to marvel........but plastx really does a fine job, im sold !

    Just wanted to share this

Automotive paint is a forum of plastic so what works on piant usually works great on plastic. I sand all the lenses on my car down with 1000 grit sand paper and then buff them out. I do it to get rid of the writing on them from the factory (part numbers and manufacturing codes)

Ok, so I have a bug shield on my truck that has faded to a dull, luster-less finish. I have used a plastic polish a few times and it helps, but not for long. Can I revive a "new" look to this bug shield? Mayeb use a PC and some light cut on it?

compound it with a heavy compound using a rotory. Remember to buff off the edges or you risk breaking it. Follow that with a polish and sealer.
