    Heat damage. Help?!

I have a friend who suffered some heat damage at a race track. Think there is anything that can be done for the paint at this point, or should he just repaint it?

Koop ...I think I`ll pass:p it looks more like you would have to cutthe front half of the car off and the attach the back half that isn`t smashed...you did see the front was totally collapsed
now if you could get the right deal from a dismantler you could do it under 15k...and make a hefty profit...

That would be one heck of a deal! that`s a viper. I don`t konw of any dismantaler that would let a hood off one go for 15k!

Koop all you need to find is one that was rear ended and put the two together

You have to go out to California or Arizona and check out what`s available at the dismantlers....it would blow your mind....old, new everything...they buy totalled vehicles that they know have salvage value and if they can they just cut off the damaged half and they put the saved half or quater or even just a front clip in one piec on a huge shelf...when you drive by you see the front of 30-40 cars stacked 20 feet in the air...

This is obvious. I understood that. I`m just not familiar with your movie star salvage yards! Here in wisconsin if you find a yard that has seen a viper that`s been in an accident it`s beond a mericle.
