    protecting chrome

    Hey guys

    Quick question on how to keep chrome looking like....
    well, chrome. I just bought some chrome step rails for
    my truck and would like to keep them looking new.
    any ideas?

    For chrome I really like AIO followed by UPP. Just wash and dry with rest of truck.

    Same here its AIO topped with S100 and QD its Meg`s Finial Detail. Also try Eagle One Chrome polish it works great.

    like he said above chrome wax and also acid cleans chrome pretty good too .

    Just remember to take it easy on the acid. It micro-etches chrome (though much slower than other metals) and over time you`ll get a duller surface.

    As you can see, you can finish any type of wheel with any combination of sealant or wax. It protects them from the elements and makes clean up much easier next time you wash. This was discussed here heavily with respect to brake dust.
