I buffed out as much as possible, but some of the damage still remains. If this was my car I would definitely have to spend some $$$ at my bodyshop having her fixed. I know where every single scratch and imperfection is on my car, my wife`s car and my van. Doesn`t thing like this drive you nuts !!!

Clean, nice clean up.
Nice job.....looks incredibly better than before...I would think he should be happy with what you did.
Great Job! Looks a whole lot better!
I have a little trick that I do, but not sure if it is the "ethical" thing to do from a detailing standpoint!
I carry a basic selection of paint touch up pens, and I lightly rub the touch up pen (closest color possible) across the scratch in the opposing direction of the scratch and promptly wipe the excess paint off!
It usually (99%) hides the scratch until the owner can take it to the shop to be fixed properly! I always ask their permission to do so, before I do this! The color differance is usually not noticable as it does not stand out as much as the "white" of a scratch would! I do this for little stone chips as well!

Looks Much Better.
Looks a whole heck of alot better than it did. I`m sure the owner was very pleased. Great job as always.
things like that bug me until I get them fixed

The car looks great, but doesn`t the balancing weight bother you? I hate when nice cars with nice wheels have the weights on the outside, they just aren`t meant to look good so why put them in plain view on the expensive wheel? I always use the sticky weights on my wheels!

Those weights are the worst thing you can have on your wheels. Not only do they look bad, all they do is corrode them. It doesn`t help with the person who is balancing them doesn`t care about your car and puts little nicks in the clear coat that bubble up after a year or so. Always request stick ons.
Even if you fixed that scratch it still looks like it`s dented. If I had the money to drive a 540, I`d sure have the money to have something like that fixed. I painted the bumper of my Focus for a couple paint chips........

i would only say nice job if I couldnt even tell there was a mark there to start with......
nice job on getting the red paint transfer off but other than that I would go with a touch up followed by a 2500 wetsand and a wool pad with some nice heavy cutting compound

Definitely would have spent more time on that problem if it were mine, or if the customer were paying for that correction (dealer car) . I had another detail to complete after that car and time was not on my side. As far as the wheel weights... The car definitely was not mine !!!
