Talking *PICS* This was not fun!

This is my brother`s car, yes we share DNA and have the same parents. The car has not been washed in YEARS. I waxed it in 98, to my knowledge that is the only time it has ever been waxed.

Before on the interior, this after I cleaned out everything "big."

Afer on the interior, i replaced the floormats so keep that in mind. The vinyl is dressed with meguiars natural shine (maroon bottle). On the interior carpets I used an APC with the little green clean machine. Some of the grass had welded itself to the carpet so......

Here is the exterior after. I spent almost 2 hours cleaning just the wheels, they could use about 2 more. I used an acid based wheel cleaner and an assortment of brushes.

On the paint, I washed, clayed, DACP w/ yellow meg`s pad @5.5, then topped with NXT. I was tired, I started about 9:00 and finished up around 4:30.

You did a great job cleaning the interior of your brother`s car. Please post pics of the outside when you finish.

I just had to laugh. You did one great job on that car. I`d love to know what your brother said after you were done. My first thought after seeing the pics of the interior were that he must surely view his car as mere transportation; Something quite alien to those of us on DC!

DUDE. Awesome job. The only way that thing has survived his obvious abuse is that it is a Toyota!

But WHY did you agree to do that? Is he still threatening to tell Mom about some teenage indiscretion? If so, I suggest you get something on him and then threaten him into picking up a vacuum (not to mention a bucket). :LOLOL

Or worse...does Mom have something on you and guilted you into it? :rolling

He he. Great job though. You obviously have that genetic flaw that makes you really upset to see others be sloppy.
Don`t cry honey. I wasn`t polishing the car again. I swear! :naughty

What a big turnaround!! What was the paint condition after using just DACP? Was it single stage?

    Regardless, it looks super

That looks like my brother`s car!! Only he never takes the "big" stuff out of the interior.

Well it did look like my brothers car I should say.

    Looking good!!

It would have taken me 7 hours to get ready to do that interior. Great job. What did your brother say to you after you were finished?
    "I`m staying out of it."
