    Done with Edge DA pads

I own four now, one is left standing - the other three the backing has come off (and the fourth one is hanging on there)...

I have had my meg`s pads twice as long and never ever had an issue with the velcro backing coming off...

The have lasted as little as a day and as long as 4 weeks (the one still going strong)...

I`m sticking with Meg`s from now on...

Now you tell me! (just bought a batch). How do you clean them? (you may have already posted this in that other thread). I suppose you clean the Meg`s pads the same way? :dunno

You wouldn`t be leveling the frosting on your cakes with it would you? :hungry
Don`t cry honey. I wasn`t polishing the car again. I swear! :naughty

I wish - a little soap and water - wring till clear then let them air dry...I have literally wrung the Meg`s pads like a kitchen sponge and they buff like the day I bought em - never an issue with the velcro backing -

Groebuck, I have posted several times, if anyone has any problems with our pads we will replace them no charge, no questions. Please return the pads to the factory so we may examine them and find out what is the problem. This way we can improve the products and eliminate the delamination.

Sorry I must have missed those posts - I will send you four (i think I can`t remember) one I threw away (this about 6 weeks ago when the backing came off after one use, but Dwyane took care of that).

Thanks a lot! Hope it helps in figuring out what is going on -

Same here. I needed to replace a few of my older Megs DA pads so I naturally figured on trying Edge DA pads based on my positive experience with their larger, rotary pads (which have held up and performed quite well). Pads won`t get as much use I gave them last year so I`m expecting new ones to really hold up. We`ll see.

If there is a prob, and I don`t anticipate there will be, I know their customer service will come through.

I would have gone to "The Edge" first before i would post a negative post like that...

Well, i dont own Edge pads for my DAP 7424, but i would be confident in ordering some simply based on the service & honesty that Aaron tries to uphold.

I`d place some emphasis on R&D to really stand out from the competition in terms of quality and durability. Once people have used products and dealt with a company that instills confidence in them, they will give free marketing by sharing they`re experiences with their friends.

Product quality and high standards of service should ideally be mutually exisiting enteties. However, a product may take on several modifications & tweaks in its design throughout its lifetime, constantly shifting toward better quality and efficiency. As long as the company who is manufacturing this product stands behind them and tretas their customers fairly, they will prosper.

    My 2 cents Aaron.

I have several EDGE pads for my 7424 and so far no issues It`s great to know that there is quality customer service to backup these pads though if the `exception` does happen

For the record, a HUGE majority of The Edge DA Pads perform very well and hold up quite nicely.

When you do have problems with a product it is always a good idea to allow the manufacturer to remedy any concerns. This also helps the manufacturer to address any potential problems and take appropriate measures as needed.

Aaron and Saul at Dedication To Detail are going out of there way to not only back up there products but to also create new and innovative products for Detail City members.

Thanks so much for your support guys! We PROMISE that we stand behind our products and are on a daily mission to innovate new products that make your detailing experience not only faster and easier, but create a higher gloss, all while being price competitive. We also are constantly changing based on our customers needs and experiences. It does seem that there is an issue with the adhesion of not just our DA pads but many others. We are going to seriously look into the problem and resolve it, but during that time we will replace any and all defective parts at OUR COSTS, no questions. Thanks for your patience, support, and patronage!
