Thumbs up Few Pics To Share Of My Ride (after SSR2 and EX)

Been a while since I posted, but I wanted to share a few pics I took a while back at work. It was early and the car was in the shade, but the pictures turned out 1/2 way decent.

So far, I`ve put a coat of EX on - after I used claybar & SSR2. Still use my PB`s S&W all the time. I`m thinking a couple more coats of EX and a couple coats of p21s and I should be good to go.

Great looking stang:band I shortened the antenna on mine and am now looking at an aftermarket one that is even shorter. I hate how high the factory antenna`s are.

Darkhorse: Shortening the antenna will cause receiving capability to suffer at speed. If you think that I am wrong, take your car up to 90 and tune into a weak radio station and you will hear the results. Believe me; I am an extra-class amateur radio operator with a callsign of KC9CNN. OEM antennas are cheap and effective. Manufacturers don`t like to make really long antennas either, but that`s what`s best for them and the consumer. In-windshield antennas in Audis cause problems with automatic toll devices such as the I-PASS in Illinois. Automatic telescoping antennas that retract when the radio is off are more expensive and they tend to break. Many car manufacturers still favor the classic whip for radio reception. I prefer the automatic telescoping antenna, but they do tend to have more problems.

Thanks for the great comments everyone.

I`m really looking forward to applying the p21s - my goal is to get a shine/reflection so nice, you can see what my neighbor across the street is watching on TV simply from the reflection.

I`ve been very pleased with the products I`ve used -- all discovered through detailcity/your feedback & suggestions. Hopefully, I`ll be able to grab some decent photos in the sun after my next application.

    Thanks again.

Thanks for the feedback Rosso. I have had my antenna shortened for about 2 years now and have not had any reception problems. I`m not dissing you, just saying I have not had any problems:cool .
