My review of UPP after the winter attack.

Many of you know that I gave my cars a heavy dose(33 coats combined) of UPP this winter. Today I washed my car for the 3rd time since mid December. I used Platinum`s Ultimate Auto Wash Shampoo. The car is still very slick. Most of the dirt comes off with the nozzle on the jet setting. When I was drying off the car and leaned on it with the micro I started to slide off. With just a wash my neighbor complimented me on how shiney my car is. Next fall I want to synthesize my car again. I was thinking of trying something else but I`m too impressed with UPP to use anything else. My thinking is since everything is sliding off there`s UPP still on the car. SO as of now my Winterization Project will always include massive doses of UPP.

    Rick,

Seriously, if you get some EX-P, it might me interesting to see how "a whole bunch of coats" of EX-P on some panels, and UPP on other panels hold up against each other next winter?

Hmmmm. That`s a thought. 66 total coats of sealant. My finish will be so thick I`ll need a red flag and a wide load sign to put on my car.

Remind me late September. I still have about 1/3 of a bottle of UPP. That too impresses me.

You got 33 coats out of 2/3 of a bottle?

    rabbi,
I had similar results on my wifes car with three coats.
It was a brand new vehicle and so I applied UPP and she went to visit family for a month.
I told her not to let anyone wash the car cause I didn`t want it all scratched etc.
After 3200 miles and a month at the Atlantic Coast and the trip home in the salt and crap ... I washed it and the crud just washed away like it was dust.
I think these two examples alone are a great testimony to two great products ...
UPP and 4* Ultimate Car Wash Shampoo.
It`s what you learn after you know it all that counts ... John Wooden
