    Paint weirdness

A friend of mine just got a 2000 Lincoln LS, but we have a problem with the exterior. Its extremely rough, not smooth at all. It seems that the roughness goes away (to an extent) if you rub the area with a soft cloth.

    Any ideas?

Clay it and tell us what happens.

The car also has microfine scratches, so im considering the following

    1. S&W
    2. Clay
    3. SSR2
    4. SSR1
    5. Pro Polish
    6. EX

I will be sure to take before and after pics, currently this car has very little light reflection to it, hopefully I can fix that.
