Default Instant Detailer V.S. Spray Wax

Hey There,

I'm trying to determine the difference between the instant detailer and the spray way. they seem very much alike when reading the descriptions. I've used spray waxes before and many times other products often use these two words interchangeably.

Thanks

Spray waxes and detailers are two different things, though in some brands, their distinction may not be so clear.

Our Showtime Instant Detailer is much different than our spray waxes.

Showtime Instant Detailer is for removing dust and smudges and the like. It offers some gloss. It is also used as our Clay Bar lubricant.

Our spray waxes should be thought of as wax boosters, and while they are recommended for use on a clean car after a wash, you can use them if you have light dust. While they apply like a detailer, you get much more gloss.

Some spray wax brands require you to let it dry to a haze, but not ours (at least not our current formulas).

We recommend you have both an instant detailer and a spray wax in your detail bag.

So pretty much the spray wax is to be applied after washing and the instant detailer is to be applied between washes when the car may have some dust or road grime?

Correct. Showtime is also good for removing bird bombs and bug splatter. Use the spray wax in between waxes.

If you've never before used Spray Wax, you absolutely won't believe how much a spritz after washing will maintain/renew your otherwise good wax finish. In conjunction with a couple decent quality microfiber towel, it's well worth the extra 10-15 minutes it takes to spray/spread/buff.
