The Rain-X anti-fog makes your windows look like a bunch of fat sweaty guys smoking cigars had an all-nighter in your car. The Glass Wax is garbage. Stick with the original stuff.

Try it again using a damp microfiber followed by a dry one...it makes a BIG difference.

So spray it on, wipe it with a damp, then dry it with a dry towel?

I use a folded paper towel to apply the Rain-X, then when I get all the windows coated, I go around with the damp m/f, wipe down the windows and then immediately buff them with the dry one. I even do the interior of the windows this way. When I`m done, the glass is perfect.

On the outside glass, I will clean them first, but on the inside glass, the Rain-X cuts through any film & gunk on the glass all by itself.

I apply rain-x before washing the car. I apply it with a paper towel. Just apply it and not buff it off. Work my way around the car. By this time rain-x has already hazed-up on the windows. After that, I begin to wash the car and the windows normally. When you wipe down the windows, no streaks.

Sounds like you might be washing off the rain-x when you do that though.

I might try it soon, but I will soon be giving into Poorboy`s S&W, so the method wont work for very long.
