    How "sun friendly" is PBs?

I recently did a detail on a dark gray vehicle in a driveway (no shade) in 90 degree heat (ok it was 89).

First polishes with SSR2, then PwC.

Topped with EX (don`t own EX-P) yet. I actually applied to entire car then remove 30 minutes. After baking in the direct sun it still buffed off clean and easy.

Has anyone had problems with PBs in extreme heat? I`ve yet to have any difficulty

I had a problem, after applying SSR 1 and EX-P in the sun, I had a horrible sunburn on my back!!

Poorboys making their products usable in the sun = good idea

Applying their products in the sun w/o a shirt on = not such a good idea :beat

    CarGlow,

    I see your from Metairie...

I`ve never had a problem using ANY of PB`s products in direct sunlight (with 100% humidity) or shade with professional results.

Sometimes I find that PB`s products prefer the sun, or maybe that is how I got use to them.

Never had any problems. I have used them all in DIRECT Memphis sun in July. Anyone ever been here before in July?

Yeah, I`ve been there in July AND August! Pretty hot but if you don`t like the heat, just wait a few minutes and it will rain to make it even MORE humid!! EBP, you ever seen an old guy driving a 300ZX TT with 18" Racing Harts around town?

I worked on a black show truck last summer in 100* heat and the finish was over 113* .....not advisable unless your hands are made of leather...but it is possible...

I like working on my tan too

I wish I could get a tan. We don`t get much sun in my part of the world.

That`s my dad. Amazing thing is, he ONLY uses Dry Wash on it. Never been waxed since `93 when it was new. I`m converting him to Spray & Wipe!!:dj

Oh yeah, he`s puttin about 400 to the pavement!!!

I`ve had good luck with PB`s products in the sun as well. I have found that EX is easier to remove than EX-P is - don`t know why.

That`s odd, I`ve never known any product to remove as easily as EX-P, but EX is easy to remove also.. as long as thin coats are applied.
