    dusty

I also have a question. Whenever I use wax or polish I put it on by hand and take it off with my PC on a very low setting. Well, while I am doing that I get a lot of dust from the wax or polish. Am I using too much? I usually put it on til it lightly hazes. I try to not cake it on.

What products are you using? I have noticed that some products make dust and others dont.

For example I used Meguiars Medallion Paint Cleaner with my PC today. I noticed that it created alot of dust as I removed it. I also used P21S cleansing lotion on the other side of the hood to compare it to the Medallion. When I removed the P21S it left no dust at all.

I find it depends on what product Im using if I am getting dust. I also have a California Duster to remove dust after a process like this. It works well and gets the dust off the glass too.

yeah I get that dust with the medallion and a few other products. I just take a MF with a squirt of QD and quickly go over the car, then continue.

You might try reversing your method. Apply wax with PC and remove by hand. If you are getting alot of dust you are using too much product. Applying with PC will help save product and help you apply a more uniform polish/wax layer.
