Has anyone heard of this wax?

I see a lot of people talking about Poorboys EX and others which I`ve never used. Im reluctant to switch from what I currently use which is Collinite`s Insulator Wax. In my experience, Collinites is EXCELLENT. Its by far the best wax I`ve ever used. Easy on. Easy off. Very durable. Dries clear. What more could you ask? Just curious if anyone has tried Collinites and how it compares to the favorites on these forums.

Have you considered looking that up? I`ve read several threads on Collinite around here.

At one time, I used some Collinite paste wax. As I remember, it looked good, lasted long enough for me, but was a real pain to remove. Whether the problem was me or the product, I never knew. It does seem to have quite a few fans, though. As with most products I try and don`t continue to use, it was given away.
One thing I really appreciate in a product is easy. Good/great shine, at least 30 days durability, can`t stain plastic trim, and easy on, easy off.

I would suggest that you experiment and try other products. You will never know if a product is better for your car until you try several. That`s the fun of detailing.

I`ve used Collinite wax before! (I think it was the Insulator :dunno ). Anyhow, it`s pretty nice stuff......... not quite the "POP" that some other carnauba`s have............. but still pretty nice. It is a very durable wax.............. no doubt about that. At the time, I believe I tested it against One Grands Blitz............ another very durable product. I prefered the look of the Blitz a little better. However, the Blitz was a real dust magnet.............. especially on the black vehicle I had at the time.

If you like easy on, easy off, and a product that is very clear and reflective, you may want to try Natty`s wax. The EX has more of a darkening/deeping effect, rather than a clear effect.

    Just my 2 cents.

All Collinite waxes are very durable, probably the most durable carnuba. Insulator wax is also easy to use. Nice stuff!

Thanks for the great replies fellas. Maybe I try some of the others you mentioned when I run out of the Insulator. Nice to know how it compares though. Thanks again.
