Just great!!! I gave a half full bottle of version 1 UPP to my brother so I could justify buying a new bottle of version 2. That bottle is still half full and now I have to ditch it for version 3? I REALLY REALLY LIKE version 2 UPP and personally don`t see any problems with it. Is UPP V3 really that much better? Hard to imagine it could have been significantly improved upon.

Natty, I loved version 2 and I still swear that if applied as thin as I apply it and allowed to dry that I never had any streaks or smearing...

But, enough people did so we fixed it.

I believe that in the process of fixing the smearing problem that durability and slickness were improved upon as well.

It doesn`t smell pretty and is a thin viscosity but gloss, slickness and durability rank among the best.

    You know it is.
It`s Spring and Dwayne just can`t resist his urges.

So, to keep his urges under control, he runs a sale.

I received my bottle of UPP v.3 today. Version 3 is thinner and milky white in color. Version 2 is thicker and light beige in color. The weather was very good this afternoon, so I did a quick v.2 versus v.3 comparison. I also tossed EX-P into fray. The steps -

    - Washed with Sonax Gloss Shampoo
    - Prepped one panel with Klasse AIO applied by hand with a MF applicator
    - Applied UPP v.2, UPP v.3, and EX-P each to one third of the panel. Application was done by hand using foam applicators
    - Let dry for 45 minutes

    The results -

    - UPP v.2 was more difficult to wipe off than either of the other two products. There was some smearing that required extra buffing. [Note: I tried a few different MF towels for wiping and found that Poorboy`s Velvet Smooth towel was significantly superior for this situation.]
    - UPP v.3 was extremely easy to wipe off with no smearing whatsoever
    - EX-P was just as easy to wipe off as UPP v.3
    - UPP v.3 was the slickest, though v.2 and EX-P were slick too
    - EX-P had the most clarity
    - UPP v.2 and v.3 looked the same, both clear but not as quite as clear as EX-P

    awd330,

As usual, nice review! Hopefully, you will leave those 3 products on that panel long enough to give us some idea of the durability between the 3.
