    Soft Clear Coats

I have a job coming up later this week. Its a 02 Red Porsche. The guy tells me that the clear coat is very soft and scratches easyly. He asked if there was something that I could put on to help. My suggestion was a sealant after polish and swirl removing and wax.

Anyone have some suggestions about what might help besides what I just said

actually he has it backwards...his clear(sikkens) is harder and therefore scratches easier....straight from the mouth of a Sikkens sales rep. I had taken out to dinner a couple years ago.
That`s what makes the shine better when done properly....
These finishes I always use the least abrasive materials and products to remove the imperfections and be real careful with clay...keep it overly lubricated if you are planning on that step.
The overall composition is not that different and show be treat the same as any other finish....is there a way to prevent scratching.....absolutely...park it inthe garage and throw away the keys
life is short ..do it while you can
