Question 3 step system using FX instead of carnuba?

I have been using the oldie but goodie 3 step system from Mothers, the #1 Pre-wax Cleaner , the #2 Polish/glaze and the #3 carnuba paste. I have had no complaints about how it looks on my mustangs 5 year old paint (still looks new today) but I am interested in the new line of sythetic waxes available. I live in NM and the heat and dirt can really take a toll on car paint.

My question is this;
- Is there a 3 step system for the new synthetic wax FX ?
- Do I need to use a pre-wax or Polish on the paint before FX or is FX an ALL-IN-ONE system that will hide swirls and scratches?

thank you,
Steve

Steve - there's not a 3 step with synthetics, but here's what I'd do:

Wash
Clay
Power Polish
FX SynWax
FX Spray Wax for touch-ups

Thank you for the fast response Forrest.

If I use the POWER POLISH, can I apply it by hand (being that I dont own a buffer?)
Or is it "only"used with a random-orbital, high-speed and dual-action buffer?

I would not use PowerPolish by hand, as the media in it needs some heat/speed to break down properly.

In place of it, use Pre-Wax Cleaner instead - it'll do a fine job.

This is why I will only use Mothers products, professional and knowledgeable representatives !!

Now that we are on the subject.
Does the Polish/glaze contain something that FX doesnt adhere to? (Carnuba maybe?)

Thanks again.

Neither Sealer and Glaze or PowerPolish contain anything to prevent FX adhering.

But, keep in mind FX has some light cleaners in it which may remove Sealer and Glaze if it were used before the FX
