Default New Midnight Blue Z4 Care recommendations

Hello All,

Getting a new car and want to treat her well from the start. Going to do the following

1) Wash Gold Car Wash
2) Clay using Mothers Clay System
3) Wash with Pre-Wax Cleaner [Step 1]
4) Apply Sealer & Glaze [Step 2]
5) Wax with Gold Liquid Wax

Do the above fall, spring and mid summer

What do you think?

Thumbs up Re: New Midnight Blue Z4 Care recommendations

Excellent plan.

Great idea to clay bar your new ride. I still love the look of The Mothers Ultimate Wax System; especially on dark-colored cars. I use Reflections these days to save time, but the UWS is still my favorite look.

When you wash make sure you're using good wash mitts (sheepskin or chenille) and two buckets (soap water and rinse water for your mitts.)

When you dry use Forrest's pat-dry method.

You only need to do Step 1 (Pre-Wax Cleaner) about every six months, so you can do it now in the Fall and then again in the Spring.

And you only need to do Step 2 (Sealer/Glaze) roughly every four months.

And you can plan on using Step 3 (Carnauba) roughly every two months.

Enjoy the ride!
