Default APC use in a extractor

Can APC be used @ in a carpet extractor, would the ratio still be 15;1?

The Mothers Professional APC for extractor use is generally 15:1, but if it foams up too much in the extractor, reduce it to 20:1

As an aside, if you have a product that foams too much you can add a defoamer to the recovery tank to neutralize this. If you don't want to get a product specifically for this you might use vinegar in the recovery tank as this is often effective. Again, use it in the recovery tank, not the clean water tank,.
