I think all the enthusiast NEEDS for a vehicle in excellent condition (as enthusiast`s vehicles usually are) is probably one light SSR like SSR1. That would probably do it as far as needs. Pros are different because they work on vehicles in every sort of condition. However, to the non-pro, detailing is half about getting the car perfect and half about screwing around with various products in search of the Grail. It`s a hobby. It gets you outdoors, you get to buy stuff on the web and wait to try it out. All that stuff. It`s just fun so buy all the polishes and sealers you want and enjoy. It would be a pretty boring world if all we got to buy is what we needed.

I think you`ve gotten your answers... as long as a product is user friendly and give the desired results , that is all that really matters, other than the point taken earlier, that you should also stay within your budget if at all possible
life is short ..do it while you can

SSR1 and PP are almost the same but of course SSR1 cuts a little more.

To answer the original question, hypothetical as it may have been.....

I don`t think I need anything beyond Poorboys stuff. I`ve tried everything except Trim Restorer and they all work as good or better than anything else I`ve tried and I`ve tried a lot of stuff.

So....why change? If it works don`t fix it.

I say just stick to what you like. All I use is Poorboy`s.

I used to use only Griot`s until it realized it stained very bad. It stained the crap out of my cousins Element and took me forever to get it back to original. That was my fault for not taping it off though, I was new at the time. Then I decided to try Poorboy`s. The reason I stuck with them was actually several reasons. Their products were top notch, Steve was ALWAYS willing to help me out and customer service is VERY important to me, and Their prices were right and shipping was fast. Those were all a deciding factor in why I stuck with them.
