    Best filler?

I know, I know, buff them out don`t hide them ... This is clear coat etching that I`m seeking to minimize not a scratch tht I want to hide. When the car is wet - the etching is practically invisible so I really think a good scratch filler would hide it pretty well. The best I have on hand is 3m hand glaze and it`s not hiding it well enough. Any suggestions appreciated.

Through a search I read about 3m fill and glaze, a pink product that many raved about for it`s filling abilities. It seems however to be discontinued now. Any one looking to part with some unused bottle in their garage can contact me!

    nick,
how would you compare the swirl filling capabilities of EX-P to the old EX?

EX fills a little better than the production version of EX-P. The prototype version of EX-P was in between.

AWD tackled that one well--her and Steve tried out the actual production one together, I had the prototype right before it.

I`m a big fan of a light filling product---How many times can you say you have removed 100% of your swirls. If it fills in the last 5-10%, that is fine by me

I actually took the 2000 grit sand paper to the blemish this morning before work. I think I can sand it out enough to keep me sane. I didn`t do much to remove the sanding "haze" before heading to work but it looks much better. At least you can`t see it from across the parking lot now!! Besides, I figured that Nick in nearby Woodstock could save me if I screwed it up. Kidding - it was bothering me so much that I figured it was touch up paint time if I couldn`t knock it back a bit.

Regarding poorboys EX-P or EX - Can I still get EX now that EX-P is shipping? how do they compare to klasse AIO? never used either one but I was considering both and also klasse SG. Leaning towards AIO at the moment, simply because it seems to be a standard that I can use as a basis for comparing products when reading this and other forums. Which is easier to apply? Easier to remove? Does either stain trim? one last much longer than the other? Do they both have similar fillers?

    TIA

poorboys is not getting rid of EX, they just added EX-P to let people have a pure version of the sealant.
