good call as far as i`m concerned. My company ships UPS and the problems just keep happening. Once a package never made it to a customer. UPS said that the package was damaged because of insufficent packing (a lie). We asked where are package was, they said they threw it away.

Poorboy, arent shippers liable for lost or damaged goods that they send out? I mean, thats just ridiculous if they just assume that you are supposed to take the financial hit of a package/shipment that THEY screwed up.

Is it possible there is some fishy/negligent acts going on within UPS, like employees opening packages and taking the items?

Sorry to hear, hope Fed Ex delivers better results.

    Let me know.

I know a guy that use to work for UPS as a delivery guy. Without mentioning any names, he was fired for stealing, but not before he got away with some goodies that wasnt his.

I would be missing packages too if I worked for UPS and saw "Poorboy`s" on the box too

Not really, but I could see how, unfortunately, these things do occur.

I have a few UPS horror stories - basically insurance is a joke - they will fight you at every step, blaming you - improper packaging yadda yadda yadda - I have literally lost 2000 bucks from damaged goods - Fedex is better not light years but they don`t fight you nearly as hard...

Fedex Express shipping (thier cheapest I think - not ground) I routinly by parts from a company called newegg.com and they use this - says 3-5 days I usually get it in 2 shipped from Cali!

I hope Fedex is good to my stuff that I ordered from Steve. Being in Hawaii, I welcome any cost savings with shipping. And if my boxes arrive intact that`s a plus

FED EX is great. I only ship with them. I have had them lose 1 or 2 packages but had no problems getting a check to pay for what was lost. Fed Ex is much faster then UPS and I have found Fed Ex is cheaper.

I am fighting UPS right now over a $200 package that they lost :angry I even purchased insurance over the amount of the item. They lost the package Feb 29 and still have not given me my money back(faxed `em the receipt for the item and of the insurance)!! Pretty frustrating and not good business :moon:

Glad to hear you are switching Steve

:angry :moon: Now I`m thinking UPS is a bad company. I think they lost my package I ordered a week ago. Isn`t UPS a top company? Its outrageous that they will not return money for losing they are suppose to be responsible for. Its shipping, do it right :hot
