I ve have so many product over the years I do not know what is a sealer a wax or what to use. I heard a lot about this new NXT is it any good? or better than what I have listed?

    Poorboys - SSR1
    Adam - Natty`s, alum polish
4Star - Paint cleaner, UPP, QD spray
Maguire`s - show car glaze 7, med cut cleaner, hi tech yellow wax 26
    Zymol - paint cleaner
    3m - med paint cleaner.

what order would you use them in?????????
I also clay after the first wash.

I have a 2003 silver accord. Its light metallic.

    My process is

    wash
    clay (clay magic)
    wash
SSR1 (PC on 2 to spread, 5.5 to work in)
Ex-Px2 Layer 3 this weekend (First with PC on 2 the rest by hand)
    PB QD+ 1x/week

Looks amazing when clean. The metallic flake really stands out in the sunlight.

In addition, PB is Sooooo easy to use

    Hope it helps.

Only step I might add to the above is VM before the EX-P.

I too love EX-P`s clarity on my SSM TL but VM will add some depth to that clarity (think dipped in oil type look.)

So maecrispy you would SSR1 then VM? SSR1 is not only a SR but gives a slight Galzed look as well. Would VM add to this?

I`d say that the Wolfgangs line up a long with a top quality paste wax, is one that brings out the lighter colors. I do a corvette twice a month and his sliver kicks up with that combo

Not entirely sure about that. My feeling is that it would since it`s a glaze and probably has better filling properties than SSR1.

Also, VM is very clear. That`s why it`s such a great combo with EX-P (which is also very clear.) y feeling is that on metallic paints (especially silver), you want to go with something optically clear so the metal flakes just pop out. That`s why even though I`m not a big fan of Zaino, I think Z looks decent on metallic silver.

VM + EX-P is almost as clear as Zaino but with more depth because of the VM.

I too love Wolfgang (you can see pics of my SSM TL with WGx2 at the link in my sig.)

WG has a nice, shimmering look to it. Very deep and carnauba like for a sealant. I was very happy with it but it didn`t pop out as much for me as VM/EX-P. It really just depends on what you look you want. Both WG and EX-P will give you outsanding looks.

No issues. They`re perfectly compatible with each other.

IMHO the VM, EX-P combo looks virtually identical to the SSR1, EX-P combo. PwC, EX-P will show more of the metallic flake but will not look as wet. PP, EX-P is exceptionally clear but will expose any micromarring in the finish. AIO, EX-P seems a bit sterile looking to me. No bonding issues with any of those combos.

You`ll always need more stuff. Better just get used to that now. BTW, I`ve decided to go with the PwC, EX-P x2, Natty`s combo on my daily driver (a silvery green metallic color). After trying about two dozen combos in the past 8 months, this is my favorite combo for most light metallics (the only exception being for off-white metallics).
