Default What to use.......

Have a Powerball and went to buy polish for American Racing Oulaw II's on my Jeep. I went with clearcoat polish because I have no idea if these are coated.......anyone know? and/or is this what I should use?

Deezul,

According to the description on American Racing's website (assuming these are the wheels you have), they are indeed clearcoated, so you've got the right stuff.

Let us know how they turn out, and if you've got pics, that would be great!

Those wheels look like they would look great on a Jeep when they are all polished up

Thats them!. Great, I'll definately grab some pics of the Jeep( Just Empty Every Pocket) over the long weekend and post......the things are like mirrors. Also worked great on the rest of the family cars too. So I hear the clearcoat polish is discontinued? Any replacement ? I 'd rather not switch to some other brand because all the Mother's stuff works good, but if theres no clearcoat polish I'd guess there'd be no choice.........

Wrong! Mothers still has lots of clearcoat polishes, just not ones specifically for wheels.

One of the cleaner waxes should work well, and if your wheels are perfect and you want to polish them regularly, then try FX SynWax. It leaves a really shiny polymer sealant on it.

Synthetics are better on wheels than carnaube-based IMO, because brake dust sticks less to them.
