    EX or EX-P on red?

Which would you use on a red vehicle, EX or EX-P?

I was planning on topping either with Natty`s or S100.

Since you`re asking for my $0.02...

Normally, I would say EX since it has some carnauba and the deeper, wetter look of EX really complements darker colored cars like red and black.

However, since you`re going to top with carnauba, I would go with EX-P. EX-P is exceptionally clear and will allow the red paint to really shine through while you`re carnauba topper will give you depth and wetness to the look of your paint.
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

I think the answer depends on the look you are going for. As maecrispy points out, if you want a brighter look, go with the EX-P. If you want a deeper look, go with the EX. I personally prefer a deeper look on red, so I would go with the EX.

I`ve got a red truck, and though I haven`t tried the EX-P, I have used the straight sealants plenty of times. Actually, what I have surrently on the truck is a straight sealant, couple coats anyway, followed up with EX. I like the look of EX. In addition, I`ve just topped the EX with Liquid Souveran.

I would choose EX, but I always top it with s100 cuz EX attracts lots of dust.

I detailed a burgundy Acura MDX last month with a VM, EX, Natty`s combo. It was very deep and rich looking. The Natty`s topper didn`t change the color of the VM and EX, but it should result in less dust attraction.

For me, EX-P attracts less dust than EX. Natty`s attracts less dust than either EX or EX-P.

I don`t seem to get any dust attraction from any of them:dunno

also I met a customer the other day and he had a fire engine red truck...it was his work truck and was maintained but not detailed too often.
He was buying supplies for his motorcycle....I did a demo on his truck of EX-P and Natty`s since these were new products from the last time we had met. He couldn`t believe the wettness the EX-P left, but what really shocked me was the way the Natty`s hid an incredible amount of swirls while also giving a very wet look.
