I am about to detail a couple of white vehicles and realized that I have never detailed that color before. What is the best plan of attack for great shine. I have the entire PB line, AIO, and UPP. Toppers I have Natty`s, Souveran, TS, and Pizazz.

I just did a Solara (Pearl White) and it was in decent shape when I started, some light swirls
1) Wash
2) Clay
3) PP
4) SSR1
5) EX-P (2x)
:yeah I prefer not to put wax toppers on white as it will take away some of the clarity.
owner of 3 white vehicles among others
I found Klasse ( AIOx2 and SGx3 ) was a really nice finish on white, and so to was AIO -> S100.
*same car, both times prepped with Menzerna FP.
I used AIO/SG on my white car last time. I like it but this weekend I used PP/UPP on a light tan car and it was REALLY clear. I`m using it on my car next time it needs it to get a better comparason.
Teflon is for frying pans.
I like PwC and EX-P on white. It really allows for depth (as much as you can get on white) and sharp reflections.

I like VM, EX-P (x2), CMW on white. This combo produces a glossy and dripping wet look. It does sacrifice some clarity and reflectivity.
For the products you mentioned, I would try SSR1, PwC, EX-P (x2). Maybe top with Natty`s.
I like PP and EX-P on white. Seems to be about the best look I`ve found yet. Always looking for a new combo though. I`ll have to try the VM.
I love the smell of EX-P in the morning.
If it`s clarity on white then I would go PP and EX-P - use the ssr line as needed to address the paint issues - maybe ssr1 then ex-p. I did ssr1 and a sealant that shall remain nameless (sorry steve not my ex ). and let me tell ya BLING BLING!!
That is what is REALLY great about Steve`s stuff it works great with any other product you throw it in with!

Well what was it Groebuck?
DONT BE A TEASE! lol
Yep, I would go with any "clear/reflective/wet" looking combo..........
PP/EX-P/Natty`s would be great.
AIO/UPP/Natty`s is another good one.
Duragloss - tried it a while back and liked it - gave it another whril sunday and it came out great - slick and glossy!

My Favorite so far is ...
Prep the paint (swirl removal, etc.)
SSR 1 with PC and polishing pad on max speed
3 coats of UPP ... applied 24 hours apart.
Since you probably don`t have three days to detail each car, one coat should look pretty awesome too.
When I applied AIO befor UPP it seemed to give the finish more of a warm look but not as wet and reflective as going straight from SSR 1 to the UPP.

Has anyone tried a AIO/NXT Tech wax combo? If not, what are you thoughts on that combo?
The AIO/NXT would probably be a good combo. Although, the light cleaning ability of the NXT would probably remove some of the AIO protection.................... I bet it would still look nice though.Originally posted by fireman03

If you want to use the NXT, you might want to try Meguiar`s ColorX, then NXT.
